Hi guys! I'm not dead, just busy :) Here's a neat tutorial for you on how to achieve the perfect red lip. Sorry my eyeliner is wonky, i took off my makeup right before i made this :) Things I used: MAC Lip Conditioner Red Enriched Lip Liner Classic Dame Mattine Lipstick Pure Vanity Lipglass Studio Finish Concealer NC15 the lipstick and gloss i used were limited, so if youre looking for good red lip colors, try ruby woo, russian red for matte, or lady bug or mac red for shiny colors. :)

You can also use lip liner to define the shape of your lips, and lip gloss to give you a shiny finish. This step by step guide will help you perfect the art. There are basically six items that you will need -- lipstick, lip balm, lip brushes, lip liner, facial tissues and a mirror. To start with, chose the right lipstick colour for the correct occasion. Go for colours that complement the natural shade of your lips, using darker tones that complement your overall colouring. Matte lipsticks give a muted finish suitable for daytime use, satin & gloss finishes offer more of an evening look. Cosmetic counters and high street chemists have a large range of colours available. Make sure you have applied all other make up before putting on lipstick and lip liner. Dab a small amount of lip balm or petroleum jelly to make your lips moist. Draw a thin line along the edge of your lips with a lip liner whose colour is one shade darker than the lipstick. Start in the middle of your upper lip and work outwards. Stay on the outer edges to open up thin lips and line well within the edges to understate very full lips. Apply lipstick from the tube, or you can use a firm small lipstick brush.
